The tape seems to turn, but I don't know how the playback will be due to aging. Of course, sound is coming out.
It's a fun player that can do fast and slow playback.

Recording, playback, fast forward, rewind, counter, pause, and two tape speeds of 1.2/2.4cm/sec have been confirmed to work.
The SLSS voice activation system causes the tape to run only when there is sound.
Full recording is also possible with a switch operation.
