This is NOT a normal consumer Fire tablet.
This Amazon Fire HD 8 appears to be an enterprise / internal-use / kiosk-configured device. Standard Amazon features are disabled and cannot be restored through factory reset.
This device does connect to WiFi and can access the internet via “WebView Browser Tester” I was able to access google and YouTube through this with no issues. This use is not applicable for me and that is why it’s selling. There are some scratches on the back and front. Device is overall in good condition.
Limitations:
• No Amazon Appstore
• No Silk browser (ONLY WebView Browser Tester - see pictures)
• No ability to add Amazon account
• No app installs or limited web access
