For those who love Macintoshes, this is a well-known model. It's aged, and shows some yellowing on the exterior.
Since I haven't confirmed it boots, it's being sold as-is.
It also comes with a video board.

The Macintosh IIcx is a desktop PC in the Macintosh II series, released by Apple in 1989.
It's a smaller model of the "Macintosh IIx," which was the main machine at the time, and due to its sophisticated design, it's sometimes praised as "one of the most complete Macintoshes."

2. Groundbreaking "Modular Design"
The biggest feature of the IIcx is its modular structure, which uses almost no screws.
• Maintainability: When you open the case, the power supply unit, floppy drive, hard disk, etc., are simply "snapped" in, allowing for easy disassembly and assembly without tools.
• Demonstration: At the product launch, executive Jean-Louis Gassée performed a demonstration in front of the audience, disassembling the IIcx in just a few seconds and reassembling it to boot, showcasing the brilliance of its design.

3. Compactness and Installation Flexibility
• Space-saving: By reducing the number of NuBus slots from 6 to 3 compared to the IIx, the chassis was significantly downsized.
• Vertical Orientation: It was the first Macintosh model to support both "vertical" and "horizontal" orientations. By changing the position of the rubber feet, it could be set up to suit the user's desk environment. This chassis design was also inherited by later iconic machines like the "IIci" and "Quadra 700."

4. Historical Significance
• Origin of the Name: "c" stands for Compact, and "x" indicates the 68030 processor.
• Evaluation: It was highly regarded by users at the time for its quiet operation and just-right size.
