50s Reverse Weave reproduction, with prints from actual archives.
This is a crew neck sweatshirt that reproduces the Reverse Weave, which obtained its second manufacturing patent in 1952. It's the 2nd patent model. It incorporates "EXPANSION GUSSET" on both sides, which was not present in the 1938 1st patent model, reducing the impact of horizontal shrinkage and allowing for greater ease of movement. This improvement led to the second manufacturing patent.
The "Tatakitag" (stitched tag) sewn on all four sides is also reproduced with the details of the time. The collar name, which indicates "REVERSE WEAVE" and the patent number for "EXPANSION GUSSET," is also faithfully reproduced. The print uses designs from actual vintage products. Furthermore, the absence of the C logo patch on the left sleeve is also true to the specifications of the time.
