Style: Heavy-gauge, fuzzy-halo pure alpaca V-neck with wide rib cuffs/hem in a heathered taupe-mink tone.
Dating: The WPL (Wool Products Label) number was issued under the Wool Products Labeling Act and is most commonly seen on pieces from the 1940s–1950s (some labels kept using WPL into the early ’60s). Along with “Fully Fashioned” (shaped on the knitting machine), this points to a mid-century make—likely 1950s.
No size tag, but I estimate it to be a women's size M, Men's size S. The sleeve length would be better suited for a woman.
