Peter Max Paints America

I always thought of Peter Max as the master who brought psychedelic art to the world. Even if I'm mistaken, I believe he was undoubtedly a pioneer in establishing this powerful worldview. This collection allows you to view his works that use many techniques, such as collages, paintings, and drawings, all themed around America. He uses such flamboyant colors that you instantly know he's a THE•USA artist. However, looking through this collection, I found many chic and simple designs that depart from that style, yet you still recognize them as his work. They have a different feel, which is very pleasing to look at. There are also many collages that have been toned down to a pale pink, making me think, "I'd love a collection just of his collages!"
