As is , the take and play set is missing three plastic bones that you can drop down from the middle section but it doesn't affect the set at all as it doesn't even drop them into any of the trains.
The carrying case turns into a playset of its own when opened and can connect to other take and play tracks . It securely closes to prevent any trains from falling out .
