US Military Surplus
1940s US Navy deck overalls, issued for cold weather protection during deck work.
They were deployed as a set with the N-1 deck jacket and cap.
There is some slight abrasion on the inner thighs, and only minor paint flecks on the left side and the left calf area. There is no pocket stretching, no paint loss on the suspender buttons, and little overall fading, with a strong green hue remaining, making it an excellent mint condition piece.
There are no signs of moth damage, fraying, or tears in the wool lining.
The U.S.N. stencil is also clear.
The fabric's firmness and the buttonhole condition suggest little use, probably only for a short period.
Believed to be a 1943 contract.
TALON "C" shape zipper.
Plain metal suspender buttons.
Marked Size: MEDIUM
Flat Measurements: Total Length 126cm, Waist 56cm, Rise 55cm, Inseam 71cm,
Thigh Width 33cm, Leg Opening 23cm (approx.)
