Authentic vintage Italian ceramic Faenza Garofano blue carnation pattern dessert bowl.
The Garofano pattern is a classic design from Faenza, Italy, a city culturally defined as the "City of Ceramics".
The design has a rich history, dating back to the 1700s, and is typically hand-painted on majolica pottery. Basically high end, collectible, hand thrown, majolica, Italian pottery.
Signed under glaze CACF and Faenza which guarantees they were painted in Faenza by the Cooperativa Artigiana Ceramista Faentini.
6 1/2" in diameter and 1 1/2" high. Great condition, like mint, no chips, cracks, or discoloration.
