Vintage German lidded beer stein featuring a raised relief drinking scene with the word Prosit on the front. Decorated with grapevine motifs and a traditional German proverb reading Guter Wille fuhrt zum Ziel, trinke oft und trinke viel. Includes a pewter lid and sculptural handle. Unmarked on the base aside from impressed numbers, suggesting mid-20th century German stoneware production. A classic decorative and collectible stein with strong folk and Oktoberfest appeal.
