Beautiful vintage set painted and distressed to look antique. This is a large and heavy stoneware set with 4 pieces. The platter is 15" and the pitcher is 7.5" Tall. This was made in Italy exclusively for Pier 1 and has been discontinued for years. It's rare to find this set all together. Take a good look at the photos for condition. The only thing I see is a tiny chip on the lip of the spout but again I know this was purposefully aged. Would look beautiful just as it is sitting on a table or cabinet.
* Please hand wash all your collectible ceramics and glass even if a label states it's safe, especially hand painted items. They will last and stay beautiful much longer if you do so and DO NOT put them in the microwave. They could fracture or worse. Many of these item have lasted several generations and I'm sure you'd like to preserve them for generations to come.
